Today, my exploration of the online dating world takes me to a site called LocalMatch.com. The point is obviously to find singles or hookups in your area. Like with all online dating sites, this usually starts with an email. When a person lives in the same general area as you, it is pretty ridiculous to write an email when you can just drive 20 minutes and have a coffee together. Still, these emails are necessary- at first. How many emails is too much when pursuing a relationship through online dating? There is no set answer for this but keep this in mind:

In most cases of online dating, it is pretty easy to tell how the relationship is going. Usually, a bit of common sense applied to basic clues will give you a clear interpretation. A nice thank-you SMS and invite to another date: that person wants to hook up! No contact in several days or any responses to your emails: get the hint that he/she isn’t interested! Members will also realize that each person requires a different amount of chatting and getting to know you time before a hookup will occur. So, how can you tell which members are serious about becoming fuck buddies or going out for discreet encounters?
