Why Do Women Cheat?

It is no surprise that there are a lot of men online cheating. However, lots of people get a shock when they see the amount of wives on sites like Married But Playing. Because of certain societal double standards, men can cheat but women are expected to be committed. We are starting to realize that women cheat as much as men (only that they tend to get caught less!). The part that is really surprising is that they cheat for the same reasons as men. The first reason is usually because of sexual boredom. After years of sharing a bed with the same person, men and women both crave some excitement! These cravings are often because a spouse feels neglected and wants attention. As we get older, both men and women, we start to feel unattractive and unnoticeable. Flirting and having affairs is a quick way to boost confidence in oneself. A big surprise is that marital affairs can actually lead to increased sex within marriage. All the spouses need is a reminder of their own sexuality and they get that flame back again. Even if you think cheating online is terrible, let’s not judge women any worse than men!
